The gentleman hero and top notch director Ramesh Aravind has written a few lines recalling his association with 57^th Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej.

I had watched MJ with Grammy during college days and to see Rickey with Grammy is surely warm on the heart.

I bumped into him in an ad voice over and immediately saw his potential. I offered music direction for my directorial Accident and the song ‘Baa Maleye Baa became a rage in Sonu Nigams voice. We then did 3 films together. He enjoyed jumping over from world of 30 seconds jingles to 2.5hrs of movie music I think.

Rickeys professionalism, his craft, his knowledge on world cinema, his fondness for animals, his hearty laugh, his no holds barred conversations are my first recalls about the man.

Rickeys growth simply shows how frail borders are and how talent can draw attention from all over. I wish him more glory.
